Every time the ball passes through a station, any station that is set to do so will turn off.
Your job is to make sure the force fields turn off at the right time. Examine the dial at each one more closely. Have you seen these symbols anywhere else?
Follow the track to where the ball will roll. The symbols on the dial happen to be in the same order as on the control panel, so set the first station to the first symbol, second station to the second symbol, and so on. When you're done, head back to the main controls and run the puzzle. If it doesn't work, you should make sure that you didn't go one way at a junction while you were setting the dials when you were actually supposed to go the other.
